The 43-year-old said she now makes music at her own pace.
Speaking in a GQ interview, Beyoncé said she isn’t focused on perfectionism but innovation.
She explained that she disappears from the public eye when she isn’t sharing her art because fame is sometimes a burden.
“I create at my own pace, on things that I hope will touch other people. I hope my work encourages people to look within themselves and come to terms with their own creativity, strength, and resilience. I focus on storytelling, growth, and quality. I’m not focused on perfectionism. I focus on evolution, innovation, and shifting perception,” she said
“Working on the music for Cowboy Carter and launching this exciting new project feels nothing like prison, nor a burden. In fact, I only work on what liberates me. It is fame that can at times feel like prison. So, when you don’t see me on red carpets, and when I disappear until I have art to share, that’s why.”
Asked if she has retirement plans, Beyoncé said,
“Good music and strong messages will never retire.”
The french ligue 1 champions were told to pay Mbappe missing bonuses as well as wages from the forward’s seven-year spell in Paris by the LFP, French professional football’s governing body, but have confirmed they will not follow the ruling.
Mbappe is thought to have contacted UEFA last month over the salary dispute.
The club statement reads:
“Given the limits of the legal scope of the committee to make a complete decision on this case, the case must now be contested before another jurisdiction, to which PSG will be happy to present all the facts in the months and years to come.”
Mbappe, joined Real Madrid earlier in the summer, after years of reported disputes with PSG.
Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has revealed that winger Jeremy Doku has picked up a muscular injury ahead of his side’s Premier League tie with Liverpool on Sunday.
Guardiola didn’t include Doku in Man City’s match-day squad for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League last 16 win against FC Copenhagen on Wednesday night.
Man City will travel to Anfield this weekend for what could be the biggest game of their season, with the sides separated by just one point at the top of the Premier League table.
A win against the Reds would put them top and surely make them clear favourites for the title ahead of Liverpool and Arsenal, respectively.
But they may be without Doku, whose absence for the Copenhagen match was explained by Guardiola before kick-off:
“He had some muscular problems so we did not want to take the risk,” he said.
Doku missed eight matches last December with a muscle injury.
