Former Everton player, Alan Stubbs has warned the Premier League club against hiring Jose Mourinho as their next manager.
There have been speculations that Everton’s incoming owners want to bring Mourinho to Goodison Park.
The Friedkin Group’s takeover of Everton is currently going through after they reached an agreement to buy Farhad Moshiri’s majority 94 percent stake of the club.
Owner and CEO of the company, Dan Friedkin, is said to be interested in appointing the Portuguese, who is currently the manager of Fernabahce.
Mourinho has managed the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United, Inter Milan and Porto in the past.
However, Stubbs believes Mourinho, 61, is not the same manager who was regarded as one of the best in the world in the past.
“If Everton were going to appoint the Mourinho of old, the young Mourinho who was so successful and charismatic, then I would say yes bring him into the football club, and without being disrespectful to Sean Dyche, I think most Everton fans would because peak Mourinho was a very special manager,” Stubbs told BestBettingSites.
“If Everton were going to move for him now, I don’t think it would be a good move to be honest.
“His last few spells in management haven’t really worked out for him. He still provides that bit of sparkle.”
Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been appointed global head of soccer at Red Bull.
The 57-year-old German will begin the role on 1 January 2025.
“After almost 25 years on the sideline, I could not be more excited to get involved in a project like this,” said Klopp.
“The role may have changed but my passion for football and the people who make the game what it is has not.”
Energy drinks brand Red Bull owns RB Leipzig in Germany’s Bundesliga, Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg and Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls, as well as Brazilian side Red Bull Bragantino.
It also took a minority stake in Championship side Leeds and became the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor earlier this year.
Red Bull says Klopp will not be involved in day-to-day operations but will advise teams on playing philosophy, transfer strategy and coaching development.
Cardi B Admits Giving Birth To Her Third Child Was “Not Hard” Compared To Previous Pregnancies
Cardi B welcomed her third child, a baby girl, in September. While many fans expected her to lay low for a bit, she bounced back relatively quickly. Just over a week after giving birth, the “WAP” hitmaker shared footage of herself in the gym, and by the end of the month, she was spotted at PFW.
During an Instagram Live on Monday (Oct. 7) morning, Cardi spoke about her latest pregnancy and how it compared to the first two. “I don’t know what it was, but this baby was not hard for me at all. I popped this baby out,” she began. “I pushed the baby in seven minutes, and when I gave birth, no lie, in one day, I had such a burst of energy. I wanted to conquer the world, but [in] my other pregnancies, it wasn’t like that.”
“When I gave birth to my son, it took me a minute to even walk,” the Grammy winner said of Wave, her second eldest child. She added, “He was a big head a** n**ga. His big head a** literally broke my p**sy, my bones, everything.” Cardi also shared that she needed stitches after having Kulture in 2018.
“Not every pregnancy is the same, and we don’t all have the same bodies. Allow yourself to heal,” she recommended. “Once you start to feel your pelvis is fine, I think you should start to do cardio, and then three weeks later, you can start lifting and stuff like that.”
Cardi hasn’t shared the name of her youngest kid yet, but it’s her third with Offset. Unfortunately, the bundle of joy’s arrival came in the middle of their ongoing divorce, with him accusing her of cheating while she was pregnant. “You f**ked [someone else] with a baby inside. Tell the truth!” he wrote during the “I Like It” artist’s Instagram Live session in September.
